“For us it was a nice qualifying, especially with a great lap in SQ2 – commented the former Ferrari Spaniard to the official F1 channel – this is the best we can do with this car and I am very happy to have achieved the first Q3 – or SQ3 – for the team this season. As far as I am concerned, I am happy with my laps and my performance. These first races have been good from this point of view“.

“Points in the Sprint? We will try – announced the #55 of Williams – unfortunately for us Lindblad seems very fast this weekend and their car with the updates seems to have made a step forward compared to the midfield, at least for what is our level. Beating someone starting ahead of me seems impossible, we know the top eight are always the same and we need ‘help’ from them or from VCARB to get into the points zone. I will try to beat them at the start, as we have already done this year and maybe that will give us an opportunity”.
