It’s getting worse and worse
The negative trend for George Russell continues in Hungary. The Briton was also in Budapest beaten by his teammate in qualifying but above all he was hindered by some problems and incidents that make his weekend extremely difficult. Russell will start tomorrow from the seventh position on the grid, after being slowed down by a yellow flag waved in the last corner due to Max Verstappen’s spin. A kind of retribution given what had happened a month ago in Austria.

But the real problem for Russell came at the end of the lap the Briton aborted: the power unit of his W17 in fact showed some problems, forcing him to park the car at the side of the track. And according to what Toto Wolff said, a power unit change will be necessary for tomorrow’s race. Russell, when he spoke to Sky Sport F1, still did not know about this need to replace the entire power unit.
