Russell lost almost half a second
George Russell took a heavy loss today in Qualifying in Miami against his teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli.

The Italian Mercedes driver gave almost half a second to Russell, Antonelli took pole position while the Englishman will have to start from the third row in fifth place on the starting grid.

“I don’t like this track – Russell’s words to Sky – even a year ago he had pole and I was fifth. Rain tomorrow in the race? There are many unknowns, we have never driven with narrower tires on wet and obviously we will have to see if it will be wet for intermediates or full wet tires.”
