Renault focuses on lithium-metal batteries
The partnership between the Renault Group company and Basquevolt highlights the importance of strategic alliances to stimulate innovation in the battery sector. Through a union of advanced science and scalable engineering, these two companies aim to make lithium-metal batteries marketable. In more than a year of collaboration, Basquevolt has demonstrated a remarkable ability to create high-energy-density batteries, while simultaneously reducing total costs. Thanks to the simplified production offered by polymer electrolytes, it is estimated that Gigafactories could benefit from a 30% reduction in capital investments required per GWh and a reduction in energy consumed per kWh produced.

Agreement between Ampere and Basquevolt
