The first step today in London
F1 today in London begins a series of meetings that could lead to regulatory changes, especially regarding power units starting from the Miami GP.

Among the proposals on the table, however, according to what was reported by planetf1.com, there is no recalculation regarding the distribution between thermal power and electric power. Shifting the balance back towards the thermal engine, bringing it to 60% compared to the current 50/50, is impossible because the engine manufacturers would not have the time to recalibrate the power units and redefine the projects after years of research and development.
In any case, homologation rules prevent any ‘hardware’ modifications until at least 2027. The ‘levers’ – few – that can be acted upon are the charging limits during the superclipping phase (currently set at 250 kW, they could be increased to 350 kW), the maximum electric power delivery (which could be reduced from 350 kW to 250 kW), and a more extensive use of active aerodynamics that goes beyond the zones currently set for the first three races of the season.
