Rally of Portugal 2026: schedule and TV times

Still in the Iberian Peninsula

Two weeks after the last seasonal rally, which ended with the victory of the reigning world champion Sébastien Ogier on the roads of the Canary Islands, the WRC will return to Portugal for the sixth round of the world championship, scheduled from May 7 to 10. After the shakedown, which will take place on Wednesday, the drivers will battle on the gravel routes located in the north of the country, for a total of 345 km of timed stages.

Waiting for the first stages

We restart after Toyota’s undisputed dominance in Spain, where Solberg wasted the incredible chance to catch up with Ogier in the last stages due to a mistake, similar to the one made by Neuville in the previous rally in Croatia. Ogier, winner last year in Portugal, will also be present at this event, with the overall standings currently seeing Elfyn Evans in the lead with a margin of only two points over Takamoto Katsuta, another Toyota driver.

Where to watch the stages

The ways to watch the Rally of Portugal will be the same as all the other rounds seen so far: besides Rally.tv, which will guarantee live coverage of all the stages, there will be the possibility to follow six stages streaming on NOW, or live on Sky Sport. The opening stage will be broadcast on Sky Sport F1 (channel 207), the same channel that will show live another four stages, including the final one. While there will be no live coverage on Friday, on Sky Sport Arena (channel 204) you can watch the drivers competing in the second stage on Saturday.
