Peugeot is working on a deep renewal of its offer by 2030. And it is doing so by focusing on three key elements: a new platform, a new design language, and a new interior trim. The goal is to support the launch of seven new models, as part of a plan aimed at significantly increasing sales volumes. According to Autocar, the French brand aims to increase global sales from 1.1 million units last year to 1.5 million within four years, with a 36% increase.

Peugeot, seven new models by 2030
In this process, the launch of the new series of cars is expected as early as next year, with the debut of the new e-208. The second generation of this car is expected in the second half of 2027, and it would be the first Peugeot vehicle to use Stellantis’ new STLA One modular platform. In this sense, the model is described as a technological and stylistic flagbearer for future launches. The underlying setting would derive from the radical Polygon concept, which debuted last year. The new design direction also declares that it wants to draw inspiration from the popular ancestor 205.
Starting with the new e-208
To strengthen the strategy, Peugeot will also present two concept cars described as surprising at the Paris Motor Show in October, intending to anticipate the design language and technology destined for production cars. CEO Alain Favey emphasized that the brand’s approach is to transform its heritage into ideas for the future, explaining that the concepts will serve to indicate the path for stylistic evolution and to show elements of the next era. Favey then confirmed that the new e-208 will not be unveiled in Paris but will debut at a dedicated event shortly before.
