Nissan Qashqai sets record in Europe
Over the course of three generations, Qashqai has evolved by introducing innovations capable of strengthening its market appeal. Among these stands out the e-POWER hybrid engine, developed to offer an electric-style driving experience without the need for external charging. In this case, the declared range is over 1,200 km (WLTP). Completing the picture are over 110 international awards, including 20 “Car of the Year” titles in various countries. At the same time, ProPILOT technology helps make driving more relaxed thanks to useful assistance both on highways and in urban routines. Meanwhile, connected services and digital functions aim to improve the daily use of the car.
Also successful in Italy
Also in Italy Qashqai continues to be synonymous with success: since its launch in 2007, 436,000 units have been sold. In 2026 alone (January-June), 11,460 sales were reached, with a +9% compared to the same period in 2025, and of these 4,770 are equipped with the new e-POWER (+22%). Considering the private channel, the growth of the new hybrid system becomes even more evident: in the January-June 2026 period Qashqai totals 5,313 units (+38%), of which 3,327 with e-POWER, that is +46% compared to the first six months of 2025. Every one of these SUVs is born thanks to an integrated European supply chain: design at the Design Europe in London, development at the Technical Centre Europe in Cranfield and Barcelona, and production at the Sunderland plant.
