Increased Dimensions
The car grows in every dimension compared to the previous model, offering more spacious, tidy and luxurious interiors. The exterior style is refined and fluid, while the cabin approaches higher segment sedans in terms of spaciousness and quality. Everything is designed to elevate comfort and driving pleasure according to the principles of Omotenashi, the Japanese hospitality that has always distinguished Lexus.
Multipath Powertrains for Every Need
True to Lexus’s “Multipath” philosophy, the new ES offers an entirely electrified range, namely the ES 350e and ES 500e battery (BEV) and the ES 300h Full Hybrid. Available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, the new powertrains allow each customer to choose the solution best suited to their needs, while simultaneously contributing to the brand’s carbon neutrality goals.
Technology at the Core
The new ES is the first Lexus to feature a new, more powerful and responsive multimedia platform, bringing advanced infotainment functions, advanced digital instrumentation, connected services, and a significantly improved user experience.

On the safety front, the new generation Lexus Safety System debuts, with advanced driver assistance systems, enhanced automatic braking and numerous functions designed to prevent accidents and reduce driver stress. All of this contributes to maintaining the highest standards of the Lexus Driving Signature: comfort, control and refinement in all conditions.
The Strategy
Since 1989, the year of its launch alongside the LS, the ES has sold over three million units worldwide. It arrived in Europe in 2018 with the seventh-generation Full Hybrid, quickly gaining a prominent position in the premium sedan segment.
The development of the new generation was carried out at the Lexus technical center in Shimoyama, Japan, where designers, engineers, and test drivers worked in synergy to perfect every aspect of the car.
