KIA is preparing to expand its Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) range by introducing the PV5 Passenger in the new 7-seater configuration. The proposal aims to meet the growing demand for flexible and multi-passenger mobility, while maintaining the typical PBV vehicle setup. The PV5 Passenger 7-seater is, in fact, a fully electric vehicle, ideal for both daily family life and professional activities and structured services, such as taxis, airport transfers, commercial shuttles, and other forms of shared mobility.

KIA PV5 seven-seater
Compared to the existing 5-seater variant, the extended seven-seater PV5 Passenger maintains easy access and optimizes interior space thanks to three rows of seats. The design features a reduced entry height of 399 mm and sliding doors, facilitating access to the second and third rows. The 2-2-3 configuration enhances modularity: cargo capacity starts from 318 liters for the rear area, reaching up to 785 liters with the third row folded down. In terms of habitability, the flat-floor E-GMP.S platform contributes to offering generous space for all occupants: up to 1,041 mm of legroom, up to 1,076 mm of headroom, and up to 1,732 mm of shoulder width. This also translates into advantages in terms of durability, modularity, and advanced connectivity, including integration with fleet management systems.
Over 390 km of range
From an energy perspective, KIA indicates over 390 km of range for the PV5 Passenger 7-seater (WLTP, pending homologation). Charging is designed to reduce downtime: thanks to DC charging power up to 150 kW, the vehicle can go from 10% to 80% in less than 30 minutes. The front-positioned charging port adds practicality, allowing charging without obstructing the cargo area. Furthermore, the model integrates the Vehicle-to-Load function (V2L) to power external devices via an internal or external socket. For European customers, KIA Charge provides access to one million charging points in 27 countries. Information on the availability for order of the PV5 Passenger 7-seater will be available from the second half of 2026.
