MINI has recently unveiled the new 1965 Victory Edition, which pays tribute to one of the most significant moments in its motorsport history. Which one? Obviously, the victory of the MINI Cooper S at the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally, achieved by Timo Makinen and Paul Easter. It is specifically an exclusive special edition that takes some of the most iconic design elements of the historic winning car. And reinterprets them in a contemporary key, “combining them with MINI performance, the brand’s characteristic go-kart feeling, and exclusive equipment,” explains the company.

The special 1965 Victory Edition is characterized by Chili Red paint, the roof and mirror caps in Glazed White, the white stripe running across the hood, roof, and rear, and the race number 52. All elements that recall the iconic livery of the historic rally car. Additional distinctive details include the “1965” inscription on the C-pillar, the edition-specific hubcaps and valve caps, and the 18″ wheels.
