The Mercedes-AMG CLE 646 Special Edition presents itself as the new high-performance icon of the Mythos collection. A coupe built in only 30 units, handcrafted in Affalterbach and, according to the Star brand, already sold out before the world premiere. It is the second model of the Mercedes-Benz Mythos Series, a selection dedicated to collector cars conceived with a decidedly exclusive approach and with a strictly limited production.

Mercedes-AMG expands the Mythos Series
The project is born with a precise philosophy: to offer uncompromising car performance, while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and character. The car is developed starting from the CLE 53, but then transformed by hand at the AMG headquarters in Affalterbach. At the heart of the proposal is also the driving experience: the CLE 646 Special Edition is indeed designed to express its power on the most engaging country roads and, when requested, also in circuit sessions, thanks to targeted technical choices consistent with high-performance use.
Under the hood a biturbo V8
Under the hood we find the AMG heart. A 4.0-liter 646 hp biturbo V8 (475 kW), paired with rear-wheel drive, aimed at maximizing response and precision in direction changes. Reinforcing the sporty character are also the new adjustable coilover suspension and extensively optimized aerodynamics, along with the wide-body bodywork developed ad hoc with widened tracks and carbon fiber components. Finally, a rigorous approach to lightweight construction leads to a weight reduction of about 170 kilograms, transforming the CLE 646 into a concentrate of efficiency, dynamics, and exclusivity, fully rebuilt according to artisanal manufacturing standards at the Affalterbach headquarters.
