Lepas’ global expansion strategy does not stop. Starting from Europe: the Chery Group brand has announced that Italy is one of the six markets for the first continental landing, along with Spain, Greece, Croatia, Slovenia, and Romania. In particular, about 1,500 units of the L8 PHEV set sail in July from the port of Wuhu. A great springboard: in our country, the 4,688 mm long SUV has been available for order since July in two trims, with prices for the Essence version starting at 41,700 euros and Elegance at 44,700 euros.

Lepas expands worldwide
The range will continue to expand in the future. The Chinese company has already announced that by September it plans to introduce the L8 PHEV, L6 EV, L6 PHEV, and L4 EV in the markets of Europe, Australia, Africa, and Southeast Asia, as well as in the Middle East. “The models are built on the intelligent LEX platform and are differentiated by tuning, equipment, and services according to the regulations and needs of each area. The global network counts over 500 sales and service points“, the company specifies.
From Southeast Asia to Europe
Speaking of Southeast Asia: since July Lepas has brought the L6 EV to the market in Thailand, the L8 PHEV at the Indonesia Brand Night, and the L4 EV at the 2026 Indonesia International Auto Show, where it also announced the price list. In this regard, Lepas has developed a specific range for the region, which includes pure electric and plug-in hybrid models, designed based on the humid tropical climate, local road conditions, and driving habits of the target markets. To operate in the area, moreover, the manufacturer has created local facilities and dedicated compliance systems, with local partners for research and development, production, spare parts, sales, service, and aftermarket.
