Leclerc outclassed by Hamilton
Today in Montreal, a weekend to completely forget for Charles Leclerc has concluded. The Monegasque was clearly beaten by his teammate, Lewis Hamilton, throughout the weekend and despite the fourth place finish today – helped by the retirements of Russell and the two McLarens – what stands out is the gap that the Monegasque took from the seven-time world champion: 34 seconds.

On a couple of occasions, Leclerc also risked ending his GP against the walls of the Canadian circuit, demonstrating how he was really not at all comfortable with the SF-26 setup. After the race, Leclerc expressed all his frustration about the weekend’s outcome to his pit wall, without anger but with the attitude of someone struggling to understand what happened.
