What a race by the Ferrari driver
Lewis Hamilton finished the Canadian GP in second place, the best result in a GP for the seven-time world champion since driving for Ferrari.
The English driver battled for a long time with Max Verstappen and after being overtaken by the Dutch driver in the early stages of the race approaching Turn 1, he returned the overtake at the end in the same spot.

Via radio at the end of the race after crossing the finish line Lewis Hamilton expressed all his happiness: “What a great job this weekend, it’s the result we deserve, let’s keep pushing”. Then he added in Italian: “Thank you all!”.

In the Drivers’ standings Lewis Hamilton moved to three points behind teammate Charles Leclerc in the fight for third place.
