Leapmotor, record deliveries in China in April

Leapmotor closed last April with record deliveries in China, recording a total of 71,387 vehicles between domestic sales and exports. The figure marks a leap of 73.95% year-on-year and an increase of 42.69% compared to March 2026, growth supported both by the arrival of new models and the rapid expansion of production capacity. The result clearly strengthens the brand’s performance in the NEV segment, highlighting accelerating demand and an increasingly effective response capacity.

Leapmotor breaks records in China

These numbers have projected Leapmotor to first place among NEV start-ups in the Chinese market, both in the monthly ranking and in the cumulative ranking since the beginning of the year. From January to April, in fact, total deliveries reached 181,542 units, with a +41.18% compared to the same period last year. The trajectory confirms the leadership of the Chinese brand among new energy vehicle manufacturers and consolidates its reputation as a rapidly expanding reality with a strategy oriented towards market competitiveness.

New products, new range

April 2026 growth was mainly driven by the launch of recent products: the flagship SUV D19, introduced on April 16, exceeded 15,000 orders in the first 15 days; the B05 Ultra was officially presented on April 24 during the Beijing Auto Show inauguration; finally, the compact SUV B03X had already debuted on March 26, completing and diversifying the offer. After delivering almost 600,000 vehicles in 2025, the monthly performance strengthens the company’s confidence in reaching the goal of one million deliveries by the end of the year.
