KIA returns to the Commercial Vehicle Show. At the NEC in Birmingham, from April 21 to 23, the South Korean brand will present the European premiere of two new versions of the PV5 family. We are talking about Cargo High Roof and Cargo Standard: the new variants, L2H2 and L1H1 respectively, expand the existing range starting from the base of the PV5 Cargo Long, offering new combinations of length and height designed to meet the different needs of transport and logistics. This is effectively KIA’s second participation at the NEC and will see the brand’s stand focus on the PBV strategy and how this translates into concrete solutions for European corporate fleets.

The introduction of the Cargo Standard as a more compact variant establishes a new entry level in KIA’s PBV family, prioritizing loading efficiency and maneuverability in urban environments where size and agility are decisive criteria. The Cargo High Roof version, on the other hand, offers an alternative with increased height that balances compact external dimensions and superior payload capacity. According to the Korean manufacturer, it is a solution capable of ensuring a capacity typical of the D-segment within a C-segment van. Other conversion models will also be on display at the stand, to highlight the versatility of the PBV platform and the possibilities for adaptation to different industrial sectors and specific operational needs.

Two new versions of PV5
Alongside the PV5 range, the Korean manufacturer will present the Business Solutions Ecosystem, the suite of services designed for charging and managing corporate fleets. Tools such as the Business Portal, the Fleet Management System, the Business Mode in the KIA app, and KIA Charge for Business are designed to offer clearer operational data on usage, charging habits, and costs, improving uptime and the daily efficiency of 100% light electric fleets.
