MotoGP Jerez, test report
The Jerez de la Frontera tests confirm what emerged in the first GPs of the season: Aprilia has made great strides forward, and evidently the new features brought to Andalusia have also worked, considering the hat-trick signed by Ai Ogura-Raul Fernandez-Marco Bezzecchi. The Japanese rider achieved the best time (1:35.944) at the last minute, snatching it by five thousandths from his Trackhouse teammate: the two are the only ones to drop below 1:36.
The technical challenge between Aprilia and Ducati is very interesting, coming to life and focusing on aerodynamics: the Borgo Panigale manufacturer brings innovations to the swingarm and fairing, while the Venetians respond with new elephant-ear conveyors in the upper part of the fairing and instrumentation on the tail section useful for collecting data more efficiently. an area where the Venetians also work. The times of Bezzecchi and Marc Marquez are very similar (only five thousandths separate them), Francesco Bagnaia is tenth, testing the solutions successfully adopted by the Gresini team last weekend.
Top-5 for Pedro Acosta, followed by Alex Marquez and Fabio Quartararo, who tested many elements on the Yamaha but – according to him – without finding significant progress.

The next event
MotoGP returns to the track in two weeks with the Le Mans event: it starts on Friday, May 8th, with FP1 at 10:45 AM and Practice at 3:00 PM; the times to note for Saturday are 10:10 AM for FP2, 10:50 AM for Q1, 11:15 AM for Q2, and 3:00 PM for the Sprint; on Sunday at 2:00 PM, the fifth GP of the year.
