Pol Espargarò climbed to second position at the end of the session, however, fitting new tires and also taking advantage of Acosta’s reference.
Third fastest was Jorge Martin, who had a small technical issue in the first run but then put in a very solid session, on par with Marc Marquez who is right behind him.
Completing the top 5 is Johann Zarco, sixth is Marco Bezzecchi. Not a great session overall for the Ducati riders who see Alex Marquez eighth after Marc Marquez, Fermin Aldeguer eleventh, Fabio Di Giannantonio twelfth, Franco Morbidelli sixteenth and Francesco Bagnaia eighteenth.
