The Japanese rider returns to the track
After missing two races in Aragon and Misano, today at the Red Bull Ring we will find Ai Ogura regularly on board his Aprilia from the Trackhouse team.

The Japanese rider, due to two missed races, has obviously fallen out of the fight for the world title (he is 71 points behind the Marquez-Martin duo), but Ogura can still aim for a prestigious placement within the top 5 in the Riders’ standings.
Ogura stated that he is ready to operate the downshifter with his index finger if he cannot manage it with his thumb, which is recovering from injury.

By taking some risks, Ogura could have already raced in Misano, but a crash at the Riviera event could have been detrimental to his recovery process.
