Maserati welcomed the final stage of the China-Italy Grand Tour 2026. Starting from Shanghai over two months earlier, the convoy traveled the impressive distance of 14,400 kilometers to reach Modena, the spiritual home of the Trident. The stars of this mega tour were the new GranTurismo, GranCabrio, and Grecale. The Trident fleet, which set off on May 4, adapted perfectly to the various cultural contexts encountered, from the monochromatic landscapes of Jiangnan to the steep passes of the Qinling mountain range.

From China to Modena
In the Hexi Corridor, the engines awakened the echo of the desert, creating a timeless dialogue with the frescoes of Dunhuang. After crossing the vast expanses of Xinjiang, then between the green prairies of Nalati and the icy blue of Lake Sayram, the convoy reached the legendary Kashgar, a strategic gateway to Central Asia. Following the stages of the Silk Road, the Grand Tour continued from the Irkeshtam pass before entering Kyrgyzstan, climbing the border ridges and descending through the vast Fergana Valley. After arriving in Uzbekistan, among the historic streets of Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara, the expedition pushed westward, specifically into Turkmenistan, passing the austere marble facades of Ashgabat and the evocative ruins of Merv, before crossing the Caspian Sea from Turkmenbashi to Aktau.
The Maserati Grand Tour
Once reaching Baku, the journey touched Tbilisi and the Black Sea coast at Batumi, then Turkey with Cappadocia and Istanbul, passing through Sofia and the valleys of Sarajevo to the Adriatic coast of Croatia, the red roofs of Dubrovnik, and the azure waters of Zadar. Finally, after crossing the emerald-colored hills of Slovenia and the pink and red hues of the Dolomites at sunset, the descent to the great plain found welcome at Lake Garda. Nothing scared the three Maserati models, never in difficulty thanks to the Vehicle Domain Control Module (VDCM), adaptive air suspensions, the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 Nettuno engine derived from racing, the high-rigidity aluminum chassis, the innovative Air Scarf neck heating system, and the intelligent all-wheel-drive system.
