Optimized floor and narrowed mirrors for the SF-26
Here we go. In a few hours the weekend of the Italian GP will officially start with the first free practice session kicking off in Monza at 12:30.

The FIA has officially announced all the technical updates brought by the various teams to Monza. In this event, energy management will give teams and drivers quite a headache since recharging the battery will not be easy at all.
In light of this fact, good aerodynamic efficiency will be essential to have low drag on the long straight sections of the temple of speed. Ferrari will be on track with the power unit equipped with ADUO-2 from which a quality leap in power between 12 and 15 horsepower is expected, but the engine will not be the only novelty present on the SF-26.

The Maranello team, in fact, has brought some details designed to reduce drag for the home event. The floor has been optimized with a single vertical element in the front area, the mirrors have been ‘slimmed down’ as much as possible, the rear brake duct fins have been removed, and the central element of the rear wing winglet has been ‘trimmed’ (i.e., cut back).
