DENZA has inaugurated its first showroom in Italy in Bologna. The premium brand of the BYD Group entirely dedicated to new energy vehicles was created in collaboration with BARCHETTI. The opening marks a strategic step in the brand’s growth path in the Italian and European markets and strengthens the BYD Group’s increasingly concrete commitment in the premium segment of electrified mobility. Bologna also stands out as the first Italian city to host the first DENZA FLASH Charging station, currently in the finalization phase, designed to pave the way for a future network of about 3,200 charging stations.

DENZA, the adventure begins in Bologna
The showroom officially launches DENZA’s retail presence in Italy through a space designed to offer an immersive and highly technological experience, consistent with the brand’s premium positioning. The project was born from the partnership with BARCHETTI, a nationally significant automotive company active for over 100 years in the mobility sector, led by Ivo and Andreas Barchetti. The point of sale, located at via Agucchi 74/6, extends over an area of 530 sqm and aims to be a new reference for Central-Northern Italy.
Models on display and FLASH Charging station
Inside the facility, customers find a path dedicated to the DENZA universe, with spaces oriented towards experience, personalized consultation, and discovery of the technological innovations of the range. Among the models on display are the DENZA Z9GT and DENZA D9, expressions of the brand’s vision in terms of innovation, comfort, and technology. Both versions integrate the BYD Group’s innovative FLASH Charging system, supported by technologies up to 1,500 kW, with the promise “Ready in 5, complete in 9, add 3 if cold”.

12 points of sale by the end of the year
“The opening of the first DENZA showroom in Italy represents a fundamental milestone in the brand’s development strategy in our country. As well as the installation, in the finalization phase, of the first FLASH Charging station, the fastest in the world, which initiates further national installations.
Bologna is a central hub for the Italian automotive market and the collaboration with a solid partner like BARCHETTI allows us a presence consistent with DENZA’s premium and technological positioning,” said Alessandro Grosso, Country Manager BYD and DENZA Italy. In our country, DENZA expects to open 12 showrooms by the end of the year.
