The Dacia Sandrider Experience kicks off in Rome, the project that brings the energy and adrenaline of the Dakar to the heart of Italian cities. Inaugurated at Officine Farneto, the event kicked off a national tour that will visit 31 dealerships of the Romanian brand, featuring the 1:1 scale Sandrider simulator. Central to the setup, it was designed to faithfully reproduce the Dacia Sandrider, the car that starred in the victory of the last Dakar. Anyone can get behind the wheel and take on a timed challenge on a virtual track inspired by the off‑road competition.

The launch event featured the winning drivers of the 2026 Rally of Portugal, Sébastien Loeb and Édouard Boulanger. The Sandrider Experience Tour will consist of 31 stages lasting three days each, and will offer everyone the chance to participate in the challenge and compete for the best time. The national competition offers a trip to Los Angeles for two people with access to The Game Awards, one of the most significant international events for gaming and technological innovation. Dacia has announced that the complete roadmap of the stages will soon be available on its official channels.
