The positive trend is reflected across the entire quarter, which sees an average share of 3,8%, with solid performance also in the private channel. The commercial vehicle range contributes significantly to this result, rising to a 5,7% share in March, up 1,9 points compared to the same month of the previous year.

Citroen, positive March in Italy
Citroen’s electric revolution continues decisively. The French manufacturer is steadily confirmed on the podium for 100% electric models in every segment, with an 8% share among passenger cars, an increase of 2,7 points compared to March 2025. The undisputed protagonist is the new e-C3, the best-selling electric car in its segment and also first in 2025. Its success extends to all engines, as it is also the best-selling gasoline car in the segment. Excellent performance also comes from the new C3 Aircross SUV, which leads the ranking of 100% electric models in its segment and records a growth of 0,7 points compared to the fourth quarter of 2025.
Convincing electric range
Growth and innovation also characterize the plug-in and SUV product offering. The launch in Italy of the new SUV C5 Aircross continues with encouraging results (+0,5 points in the C-SUV segment compared to the last quarter of 2025, and +1,2 points for the plug-in hybrid variants). To further strengthen its presence in the heart of the market, the French manufacturer has recently expanded its offering with the new special series “Collection“, available on C3, New C3 Aircross SUV and C4.
