The event ‘Moto d’Italia’
At the Farnesina, the event “Moto d’Italia – Culture beyond the track“ took place, a sports diplomacy initiative dedicated to enhancing motorcycling as an expression of Italian industrial, technological, sporting, and cultural excellence and as a tool for the international promotion of the Country System.
Many well-known faces from the MotoGP world were present, such as Claudio Domenicali and Pecco Bagnaia from Ducati, Carmelo Ezpeleta from Dorna, Giacomo Agostini, Massimo Rivola, and Max Biaggi from Aprilia. Hosting the event was the Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani.
A celebration of Italian motorcycling, capable of winning 69 of the last 70 MotoGP events.

Bezzecchi promises to be at Silverstone
Also present remotely was Marco Bezzecchi, who has been appointed ambassador of sports diplomacy. The Romagna native is recovering from a complete and displaced fracture of the left clavicle, and in recent days he was operated on by Dr. Porcellini. Caution on recovery times, although Aprilia has admitted hoping to see him again already at the resumption of the world championship at Silverstone after the summer break.
These are Bezzecchi’s words, who greeted those present: “Hello everyone. I’m happy to be here even if unfortunately not in person. I’m fine, the operation went well. It was a bit complicated but fortunately everything is fine. The recovery times have already started, let’s see how it goes in the coming days”. When asked about his possible presence at Silverstone he assured: “I will be there!”.
The British Grand Prix is scheduled for the weekend of August 9.

Finally, a memory of the success at the Italian Grand Prix last May: “Mugello was an incredible day, an emotion difficult to describe, a dream I had since I could remember. Winning on an Italian bike in an official team and bringing the tricolor to the podium was fantastic and thinking back on it gives me chills”, concluded Bezzecchi.
