Bagnaia heads to Aragón
Francesco Bagnaia looks with interest at the Aragón GP. At MotorLand, the two-time MotoGP champion secured his first top-class victory in 2021, after a great battle with Marc Marquez on a circuit that has always exalted the Spanish champion.

Silverstone, however, left some questions about Bagnaia’s performance and his ability to stay connected to the leading group. During the British weekend, “Pecco”‘s old ghosts returned, including problems entering corners and sudden front-end closures (one of which cost him a crash in the GP).
Bagnaia’s words
“Aragón is a track I am particularly fond of: here I achieved my first MotoGP victory, the first ever with Ducati,” commented Bagnaia.

“Compared to Silverstone, it’s a less physically demanding circuit. I expect to be closer to the front right away and to be able to start getting back in the slipstream of the strongest riders.”
The Spanish circuit could offer Bagnaia the ideal environment to react after a difficult weekend. Ducati has already shown multiple times that it can be competitive at MotorLand and has achieved a clean sweep with Marquez in the last two editions: “Pecco” will try to get back on track, aware that he has no championship aspirations, considering his eighth place, 97 points behind the leader.
