Everything solved after the Miami changes?
With the Miami Grand Prix, a series of changes to the 2026 regulations came into effect to make the races more authentic, compared to what was seen in the early season events. For these innovations, the drivers were also consulted, who had a say in steering the discussion in the right direction.

Antonelli: “The right direction is to give more power to the thermal engine”
“Sometimes the operation of the energy management system still throws you off a bit. Certainly, the changes made and the margin on the system given by the FIA have helped a lot to make things a bit easier. I think the cars are much better than last year because you can stay much closer and this makes the races more exciting. As for the power unit, I certainly can’t complain because the team has done an incredible job, but obviously they also did a great job on the chassis. It seems to me that there will still be work to do on the power unit and it will be interesting to see what happens in the next two years if the regulations change and they give more power to the combustion engine and a bit less to the electric one. I think it will be a further step in the right direction. But from the system point of view, it is better than at the beginning of the year and it is becoming more natural than it was, for example, in Melbourne.”
