Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale continues to write a story of uniqueness: 33 examples, 33 identities, 33 journeys that find space in the four corners of the world. Two of these deliveries were completed just in the last few weeks, turning the wait into a double appointment of strong impact: the first overseas, in Texas; the second at the very roots of the brand, inside the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese.

Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, double special delivery
The new 33 Stradale lands in the USA with the delivery of the first example to a customer at the dealership in Austin, Texas. The recipient is Glynn Bloomquist, entrepreneur and motorsport enthusiast, whose relationship with the Biscione house goes back a long way: a childhood immersed in the world of muscle cars and racing, then a decade spent following IndyCar, until the discovery of the twenty-year bond between Enzo Ferrari and the Arese brand. From there, passion turned into collection: among his cars are a 1958 Giulietta Spider Veloce, previously owned by Bobby Rahal, and a Giulia Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversary, tested on track at the Circuit of the Americas in 2023 by invitation of the Alfa Romeo team. It was on that occasion that Bloomquist met Cristiano Fiorio, project manager of the 33 Stradale, and accepted without hesitation: one condition, the car had to be red.

In mid-May 2024, Bloomquist reached Arese to finalize in person the configuration of his example in the Council Room of the Historical Museum, the same place where in 1967 the original 33 Stradale project was approved. Bodywork in Rosso Villa d’Este, a horizontal white stripe on the front recalling the 1960s Tipo 33 racing car, 20″ black “Progressive” wheels with diamond cuts and carbon inserts; interiors upholstered on request with an exclusive leather with “furnishing” inspirations, thanks to embossing and color, characterize this unit of the Alfa Romeo supercar. On the doors and embroidered on the headrests appears the number 14, a tribute to Enzo Ferrari and A.J. Foyt. The car, assures the owner, will not stay in the garage.
From Texas to the Arese Museum
For the second delivery, the 33 Stradale returns home: for the first time in the model’s history, in fact, a delivery took place directly at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese. The car destined for the museum carries a color developed within the BOTTEGAFUORISERIE program, which fits into a color tradition that has never been fixed but constantly evolving. The new red was born from a customer’s request who wanted to evoke the typical Alfa Romeo shades with a nod to the orange of the Montreal: the solution is the result of a four-layer artisanal experimentation. The base starts from a pastel inspired by the Rosso Italia of the Giulietta Spider and Duetto of the 1960s; followed by a first depth clear coat, a pearlescent mica layer with gold tones, and finally a final clear coat. Thus the color changes with the light. The example will remain on display to the public until June 2.
