Absence in the last Race 2
The last Superpole Race at Balaton Park turned into a real nightmare for the BMW riders, both involved in two accidents: in addition to the worrying fall of Miguel Oliveira, who suffered a concussion and a shoulder injury, as well as a fracture to the scapula and ribs, Danilo Petrucci managed to reach the checkered flag despite contact with Bahattin Sofuoglu that caused him a serious bruise to the left hip.

Return to the track
Given Oliveira’s expected absence in Race 2, ‘Petrux’ also did not start after being admitted to the Medical Center, where he was declared ‘unfit’. However, after further examinations during this week, the Terni rider managed to recover in time for this weekend, with the 35-year-old obtaining the ‘green light’ to participate in the Czech Republic Round at the Most circuit.

Oliveira in the pits
On the other hand, as already announced by the Bavarian manufacturer in recent days, Oliveira will not take to the track. The Portuguese rider, who has ruled out serious complications after the bad fall, will be replaced by Michael van der Mark, teammate of Toprak Razgatlioglu last year and current test rider.
