Le Mans Tests, Alex Marquez solid in P4
There is a Marquez in Q2, but it is not Marc. While the more renowned brother will have to go through the Q1 gates, at Le Mans Alex easily enters the top-10 despite difficulties in finding the grip and the right pace. The feeling with the circuit is not the same as #73 had in Jerez de la Frontera, but the Gresini team rider believes there is room to achieve a solid weekend.
The words of Alex Marquez
“This morning we struggled a bit, especially due to lack of grip. In the afternoon things didn’t change much, but not all circuits are like Jerez“, he admitted.
“In the end we saved it with a good lap and made it to Q2. That said, there is a lot to work on, we need to find a bit more grip on the rear and with little I believe we can make an important step forward“.

The words of Aldeguer
Fermin Aldeguer instead finishes in second to last place. For the Spaniard also a crash fortunately without consequences, with a rescue attempt as spectacular as it was dangerous: “Regarding the crash I must admit that if my leg had been 100% I would have tried to save it. I preferred to avoid it and not look for trouble. It was not a completely negative day, we lost feeling with the crash, but that is not an excuse for today’s position. This morning things went well, but in the afternoon the bike changed completely and we struggled. There will be a lot of work to be ready for tomorrow“.
