MotoGP Austria, what Acosta on Friday!
On Friday at the Red Bull Ring there is only one protagonist: Pedro Acosta. When everyone expected the Ducatis and Marc Marquez, here the Tiburón lines up everyone, leading both FP1 and the Tests in Austria.
The Spaniard is unleashed and wants to achieve his first MotoGP victory precisely at the last home GP as a KTM rider: especially impressive is his afternoon, in which he takes the lead halfway through the session and sets one fast lap after another. This is his comment on Friday.
Acosta’s words
“We went really well. It is true that we still struggle a lot in T3, like last year. We have to work on it, because Ducati will surely make a really big step tomorrow,” Acosta said to the microphones of Sky Sport MotoGP.

“We worked a lot on cornering and in the smoother sections. We are still missing a bit, but in the last races I am trying to be gentler and it seems to be working,” he added.
Considering the progress in cornering, his great qualities in braking, the growth of KTM (Acosta comes from two consecutive podiums) and the history of the Austrians on the home circuit, the Spaniard can think of joining the fight between Marc Marquez and the Aprilias also for the points at stake.
