The new livery of the Peugeot 9X8 was presented at the Atelier Vendôme, in the heart of Paris, ready to take part in the 2026 world championship. A look that, unlike other prototypes such as the Cadillac (with colors very similar to those of 2025), impressed fans with a completely different style compared to that seen last season, dubbed ‘Hypergraphs’.

The House of the Lion, through this name and this particular design, wants to highlight the performance of the French team with a livery that symbolizes the lion’s claws (the distinctive logo of the transalpine brand), while at the same time recalling the historic GTi cars, which debuted in 1984 with the colors white, black and red: “These gradient trails evoke the speed and constant movement of the Peugeot 9X8 racing cars, constantly in motion – reads the team’s official note – they also symbolize the continuous flow of millions of data points, with the analysis and interpretation of such data becoming fundamental for competitiveness in a championship where the margins between rivals are incredibly small.”
Adding further details about the created livery was Matthias Hossan, Head of Peugeot Design: “The new livery of the Peugeot 9X8 is first and foremost further proof of the exceptional quality of the collaboration between Peugeot Design and Peugeot Sport. Hypergraphs representing the legendary 3 claws and their expression of performance, and modernity with a coloring that embodies the legendary spirit of the Peugeot GTi. Our goal is to bring an extra dose of emotion and pleasure to every lap completed by the 9X8”. For the upcoming season, the French team will field cars #93 and #94, with Nick Cassidy, Paul Di Resta and Stoffel Vandoorne and their teammates Loïc Duval, Malthe Jakobsen and Théo Pourchaire respectively.
