Hamilton, harsh criticism from Gary Anderson
In The Telegraph Gary Anderson – former designer for Jordan, Stewart and Jaguar – urged the Ferrari driver to adopt a different attitude in an article with a telling title: “Lewis Hamilton must stop blaming others for his stupid mistakes”.
Thus the former F1 technical director: “I am surprised that, with all his experience, he makes these mistakes. If we consider the 2 incidents in Hungary, I believe the fault lies with Hamilton: he should take more responsibility instead of pointing the finger at his team”.

Anderson then continued: “He was also caught by surprise by the overtake made from afar by Max Verstappen. At that moment, Hamilton was practically asleep”.
The British engineer compared Hamilton to Nigel Mansell for “not using his head enough sometimes”. Anderson then concluded: “I have the impression that Hamilton is not taking responsibility. He is looking for someone to blame and it is disappointing“.
