However, in today’s Superpole Race, Bulega returned to the top step of the podium, and not only that: thanks to his victory, the Ducati-Aruba.it team mathematically secured the 2026 world title.

Race report
At the start, Lecuona immediately stood out, taking the lead followed by Montella and Bulega, who had slipped to third position. However, when the Superpole Race initially seemed to favor the winner of Race 1 at Donington, the Spaniard fell during the second lap at turn 12, handing the race lead to Montella. Even before Lecuona’s definitive retirement on the seventh lap, during the fifth lap Bulega completed the overtake on Montella, managing the lead from that moment for the entire second half of the race, with Sam Lowes finishing in third place. In this way, #11 not only regained victory after the winning streak interrupted by Lecuona in Race 1, but also allowed his team to mathematically clinch the 2026 world championship, with the weekend concluding with Race 2 scheduled for 16:30.
