In a championship so far dominated by Mercedes, Monte Carlo represents a difficult-to-repeat opportunity for redemption for the competition. The narrow streets of the Principality hide Ferrari’s biggest weakness – the power unit – and enhance the qualities of #16 on a single lap. It’s no coincidence that Leclerc arrives at the press conference with great confidence.
Leclerc’s words
“Norris says we are favorites? I don’t agree. I think we are in a better situation compared to other tracks. If there’s one track where I’d bet on us, it’s Monaco. However, I believe Mercedes has had a significant advantage since the beginning of the year, and here I also see McLaren and Red Bull doing well,” commented the Monegasque in the press conference.

“It’s true that on other tracks we struggled on the straight, while we have a strong chassis package, so this track could help us, because here the engine is less of a problem. But Mercedes will also be the team to beat here,” he added.
