A disastrous start
The 2026 world championship started with great difficulty for Aston Martin, the only team along with Cadillac not yet to have scored a point in the Constructors’ standings. A start to the championship that did not meet the predictions for this season, aggravated by what happened to team principal Adrian Newey, who also had to leave the pit wall after just one race weekend in Melbourne.

The recovery
The British designer has had to deal with health problems that forced him to recover in recent months, but good news has arrived from the Silverstone team: according to reports from Mike Krack, Head of Trackside Operations, Newey will make his return this very weekend for the Monaco GP.
“You will see him – he declared in the press conference where FormulaPassion was also present – I think we will see him this weekend. It’s good because he has a lot of experience here too, with many victories. So I think we can definitely get some useful advice that will help us progress. We can’t wait.”
