Toyota Hilux Full Electric, orders from 58,000 euros

2026 has already started to bring several novelties to the Toyota range. Now it’s Hilux’s turn, the global icon of pick-ups. With the arrival of Hilux Full Electric, a decisive chapter opens for the model: for the first time it truly enters the era of 100% electric mobility, alongside the Mild-Hybrid engine. A choice that confirms Toyota’s commitment to push electrification without giving up Hilux’s most recognizable identity.

The new Toyota Hilux Full Electric

The Full Electric version immediately stands out for details designed to communicate its tech imprint. The dedicated Electric front, with closed grille and more aerodynamic lines, improves efficiency and makes the category leap evident. The look is more modern and distinctive, consistent with the evolution of the new generation, while the 17″ wheels are optimized for aerodynamics. The technical base also remains faithful to the model’s values. Hilux Full Electric is born from the evolution of the consolidated body-on-frame architecture, reinforced to support electrification while maintaining robustness, reliability, and off-road capability, elements that are part of Hilux’s DNA.

Battery and electric motor

Inside the structure we find the 59.2 kWh lithium-ion battery, integrated in a protected position and rigidly attached to the chassis to reduce exposure to impacts and severe operating conditions. The battery pack, composed of 5 modules and 80 cells, is water-cooled to aim for consistent performance and durability up to 10 years. Furthermore, the lower positioning contributes to a favorable center of gravity, improving stability and control both on-road and off-road. For charging, the system is flexible: up to 80% in about 30 minutes on direct current (150 kW) and up to 100% in about 6 and a half hours on alternating current (11 kW).
