Ferrari has presented the Handling Speciale of the Purosangue, a new and unprecedented exclusive configuration available on request, designed to push to the extreme the sporty character of the first four-door and four-seat in the history of the Prancing Horse. The goal is to offer even more engaging driving sensations, with a quicker response both mechanically and electronically, without compromising the daily usability that makes the Purosangue a car capable of adapting to any context. In other words, an ideal choice for those who want a more “track-like” imprint while maintaining the real, relaxed, and practical use of a four-seat car.

Ferrari Purosangue Handling Speciale
The characteristics of complete habitability remain unchanged, the raised but sporty driving position, and the overall high quality of the cabin. The basic architecture also remains the one that made the Purosangue so loved: a new four-door based on a transaxle layout, with naturally aspirated V12 engine in a front mid position and rear gearbox, supported by state-of-the-art vehicle dynamics systems. The Handling Speciale configuration instead intervenes on some key elements of dynamic response, starting with the calibration of the active suspensions, designed to reduce body motions by 10% and provide a sensation of a more compact car. The result is a more direct response to the driver’s commands, with greater control in corners and quick entries.
New shifting logics
A significant evolution also concerns the shifting logics: faster times and sharper gear changes, especially in the “Race” and “ESC-Off” modes of the Manettino. The effect is particularly noticeable in acceleration maneuvers, where the system favors a sharper acceleration sensation. In manual mode, moreover, shifts become sportier at medium-high revs, above 5,500 rpm, to increase driver involvement. Completing the experience is a dedicated in-cabin sound setting, optimized to enhance startup and acceleration, thus further emphasizing the nature of the naturally aspirated V12.

Even more exclusive design
The Handling Speciale also signs an exclusive aesthetic characterization, immediately recognizable but without altering its proportions. Among the distinctive elements stand out wheels with a specific design and new diamond-cut finish, carbon fiber side shields, matte black exhausts, black rear Prancing Horse, satin Ferrari logo, and an internal plaque identifying the trim. Added to this is the 7 YEARS OF MAINTENANCE program, the seven-year extended assistance from the Maranello house that covers ordinary maintenance interventions for the first seven years of the car’s life, even for those who buy a Ferrari not of first registration.
