The emotion of Bottas
A goal that Valtteri Bottas came close to in China, who with his 13th place not only set his best personal result at the start of this season, but also the team’s overall best. The progress of the American manufacturer, together with the drive of the Finnish driver, could be a mix to bring Cadillac into the points zone on the street circuit: “I am excited to get back in the car and there is no better place to do it than on home soil for the team – commented the former Mercedes driver – being able to represent the Cadillac Formula 1 Team in its first home race is a special moment. I look forward to hitting the track in front of the home crowd and feeling their energy. After a great start to the season, we want to make sure to keep building on everything we have achieved so far. The team has worked hard to bring an improvement for Miami, so I am excited to see how it will go with the goal of getting closer to the mid-field group.”

New goals with the update
Very motivated and confident is also the teammate, Sergio Perez, eager to make further progress to go beyond his best personal result, equivalent to 15th place set in China: “After the race in Japan, I am motivated and ready to get back on track, especially after this break – added the Mexican – we have made great progress in the first three races and the update we will bring to Miami will help us take another step forward. The goal is to reduce the gap from the teams ahead of us and fight for positions. If we succeed, we will gain even more momentum and confidence for this intense part of the year. Being part of the Cadillac Formula 1 Team is a real pleasure: it is a team with great ambitions and a path to achieve them.”
