Marco Bezzecchi was the fastest in the first free practice session of the Thailand GP. The Aprilia rider stopped the clock in FP1 at Buriram in 1’29″346, a tenth faster than Fabio Di Giannantonio.

Jorge Martin set the third fastest time – a crash without consequences for the 2024 world champion – then Ai Ogura and Pedro Acosta to complete a top-5 with three Aprilia bikes.

Sixth time for Marc Marquez, who preceded his teammate Francesco Bagnaia by a few thousandths. In the top-10, there was also room for Franco Morbidelli, Alex Marquez and Luca Marini.
