KIA presents the PV7, the second model in the 100% electric PBV range, designed to meet the needs of companies and operators who require more space, flexibility, and load capacity for commercial activities and passenger transport. The range is divided into two versions: PV7 Passenger, focused on highly modular seat configurations and comfort for long trips, and PV7 Cargo, designed instead to offer high load capacity, a lower loading threshold to facilitate daily operations, and a setup intended for business use.

KIA presents the new PV7
The direction taken by the PV7 strengthens the stylistic DNA of the Korean brand’s PBVs thanks to bold and vertical proportions, combined with specific user-oriented details to maximize accessibility and practicality. From a technical point of view, the new vehicle is based on the E-GMP.S architecture dedicated to PBVs, which integrates 800V charging, long range, and a scalable range of powertrains according to market needs. The model is available with NCM batteries of 71.5 kWh and 96.2 kWh, while the electric powertrain, depending on market and configuration, delivers up to 200 kW of power and up to 420 Nm of torque to the front wheels. Front-wheel drive is standard, while an all-wheel-drive variant is planned at a later stage. Specifically, the Cargo Long Range version achieves over 460 km of range according to the WLTP cycle.
Fast charging and range
To reduce downtime in fleet and operational contexts, the PV7 focuses on fast charging. In fact, with the 800V architecture, it is possible to go from 10 to 80% in about 20 minutes using a 350 kW ultra-fast DC charging station. Additionally, for the first time on a KIA model, the PV7 offers two charging ports: a front AC/DC charging port and an optional rear side AC port. Completing the picture is the possibility to choose flexible seat configurations and connected services, with various fleet management solutions designed to support the different needs of customers. The PV7 and the entire PBV range will debut at IAA Transportation 2026, from September 15 to 20.
