Volvo renews XC40, EX40 and EC40. The SUVs from the Swedish car manufacturer have undergone significant updates aimed at simplifying and making everyday road use more enjoyable. This is how the company itself described the latest interventions, ranging from exterior and interior design to the infotainment system, including advanced driver assistance functions and active safety. Volvo is convinced: these models will continue to remain among the best sellers in our range for many years to come.

Volvo renews the 40 range
Externally, the new design of the LED headlights with Matrix technology combines with a renewed grille and redesigned front bumper, as well as the hood and front fenders. At the rear, XC40 and EX40 feature new LED taillights, a renewed tailgate, and a rear bumper with a revised design. In contrast, EC40 retains its characteristic rear aesthetic. And that’s not all: XC40 is now available with new 18, 19, and 20″ wheels with a diamond finish.
Interiors and safety among the novelties
Inside the cabin, the onboard system has been updated with a new 11.2″ screen, larger and with sharper images. According to Volvo, the new screen ensures faster and simpler interaction with the car, reducing the number of touches needed to access the main functions. Among the novelties, Google Gemini is integrated into the new models of the 40 series and allows natural conversation with the car. Completing the overview are new premium options for upholstery and finishes: for the first time, those who purchase an XC40 can opt for Arianne Cardamom leather upholstery paired with Brown Ash wood decorative elements in the cabin. Finally, the new cars of the 40 Series integrate advanced safety technologies that help prevent collisions.
