The addition of the Malaysian GP in the first weekend of October has almost saturated the calendar regarding F1, but there remains a ‘gap’ in the middle and Max Verstappen does not intend to miss it.

According to rumors, the Red Bull driver intends to take advantage of the free weekend from October 16 to 18 for a ‘take-2’ in the GTWC after having participated and dazzled at the 24 hours of Nurburgring before the technical failure of the Mercedes shared with Dani Juncadella, Jules Gounon, and Lucas Auer.
That weekend also features the penultimate WEC round in Barcelona, a situation for which Dani Juncadella and Jules Gounon will most likely be unavailable. The crew assembled by Verstappen is, in any case, nothing short of intriguing. Verstappen should share the cockpit with his driver Chris Lulham brought from the simulator and the RedLine team to the GTWC and with Alex Palou, fresh from his fifth title won in Indycar.
