Ferrari, Vigna optimistic
Ferrari has started the new regulatory cycle as the second force, behind Mercedes. With three podiums in the first three GPs, including Lewis Hamilton’s first for the Maranello Scuderia, the Red has at least shown consistency and solidity, although the decisive leap in quality to be a serious threat to the Brackley team is missing.

CEO Benedetto Vigna, speaking at today’s Ferrari shareholders’ meeting held today in Amsterdam, highlighted what he calls “encouraging signs” from the Australian, Chinese and Japanese GPs.
Vigna’s words
“With podiums achieved in each of the first three weekends, we are seeing the first encouraging signs of our work under the new regulations,” commented Vigna.
