Ferrari arrived in Miami with the SF-26 significantly renewed, but McLaren and Red Bull did the same. Only Mercedes will play its first update package in Canada in two weeks and not in Miami like the rivals.

The leap forward by McLaren and Red Bull was evident, Ferrari did not at all disgrace itself either, but at this moment the gap in terms of thermal engine is emerging more and more clearly as Lewis Hamilton pointed out.
The smaller turbo at the start and with the car full of fuel is a weapon, but it is a double-edged sword at the end of the race when with an empty tank the rivals fly. At Ferrari, the two-week break will be used to analyze what did not work in Miami forcing Leclerc to overdo it at the end in an attempt to defend the podium.
