F1 escapes the storms
A few hours after the end of qualifying, F1 decided to bring forward the start of the Miami Grand Prix by three hours, to try to avoid the forecast of heavy rainfall that was indicated as very likely for 4 pm local time.
So the start will be at 1 pm Miami time, 7 pm Italian time, but the weather shows a 40% chance of rain at the start, rising to 60% during the race.

Vasseur stings rivals
In an interview with Dazn Spain, Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur took a jab at the rest of the grid: “Some tried the Pirelli wet tires, while others did not want to do so in Barcelona. They had the chance to choose and they chose not to.”
Vasseur’s reference is to January 27, on Day 2 of the first Barcelona tests, when only Ferrari (121 laps) and Red Bull (78 laps) went out on track in the rain, with the other 9 teams staying in the garage.

On Spanish television, Vasseur also made a joke about the solution chosen by Red Bull for the rear wing: “The Macarena? For using the name they should probably pay us something (laughs, ed). I will talk to Laurent Mekies about it. In the end, we are all focused on development, we take pictures of the other cars and try to learn. That’s life“.
