Lewis Hamilton did not go beyond sixth fastest in the Miami GP Qualifying. The Ferrari driver paid almost two tenths compared to his teammate Charles Leclerc and today he will have to try to make a comeback in the GP that will start at 19:00.

In the Sprint, the seven-time world champion was unable to keep pace with rivals, also losing the comparison with a revived Max Verstappen, we will see if today Hamilton will be able to shift gears in the GP in a weekend so far without highlights from the English driver.
“We made many changes to the car before the session and the feeling in the cockpit was definitely better, especially in Q2, where we were quite competitive – said Hamilton – in Q3 it was more complicated, I couldn’t get the maximum performance out, and I’m convinced there was room to do better. I’m really grateful to the whole team for the hard work they are doing, both in introducing the updates and for what they have done to keep pushing us forward. It’s a step in the right direction: we have to keep working together to get even more out of our car package.”
