A surprising wing
When Ferrari showed the inverted wing on Lewis Hamilton’s car during the Bahrain tests, fans and insiders were amazed by the originality of the Maranello engineers’ invention. The rear wing – jokingly named ‘Macarena‘ within the team, as told by Frederic Vasseur – had only been seen for a short period on Day 2 of the second Bahrain tests, and in Maranello, the Canadian Grand Prix (seventh race of the world championship) had been circled in red as the maximum limit for its introduction on track, as revealed by colleagues at AutoRacer.it.

And instead it will already be in China
Again, AutoRacer.it reported that Ferrari has decided to leave no stone unturned in its pursuit of Mercedes and has decided to bring forward the debut in a race weekend of the ‘Macarena’ wing, which will be made available to the drivers as early as the Chinese Grand Prix next weekend.
Three specifications of the first version of the inverted wing, which received the okay from the Federation’s technicians, will be sent to Shanghai.
