The love for the red one
There is a video, published by the Spanish TV DAZN, that is going viral on social networks – especially in Spain – and that seems to be the perfect celebratory spot not only for the victory achieved by Marc Marquez at Aragon last Sunday, but in general toexplain the love that fans feel for motorcycling and motorcycles.

The credit for these images goes entirely to the on-board camera positioned on Marquez’s bike, which recorded one of the most particular and special moments of the weekend. The context is the immediate post-race: after winning the GP Marc Marquez parked his Desmosedici GP26 under the grandstand where his and his brother Alex’s fans are gathered and is celebrating with them yet another triumph at MotorLand.
Meanwhile, however, his bike was left ‘in custody’ to some marshals in that sector, who can hardly believe they have the red number 93 bike in their hands. One track marshal in particular is visibly emotional and begins to gently caress the Desmosedici, as one would with a child or a loved one. A simple but authentic gesture like few others.

The camera mounted on the bike also captured some words from the marshal: “Should I caress it, huh? Should I caress it – says the marshal joking with his colleagues – it’s really beautiful. My hand is shaking. Many people will envy us, huh– then the marshal in the center of the frame jokes again – the 17,000 in Alcaniz, all of Aragon, it’s beautiful even to the touch”.
The video, as mentioned, immediately went viral on social networks and caught the attention of Marquez himself, who thanked the marshals for ‘taking care’ of his bike while he was busy celebrating: “Thank you very much for pampering the beast“, wrote Marquez, who thanks to his third consecutive victory at Aragon has further relaunched his bid for the tenth world title in his career.
